Project Background
To implement the State Council's "Three-Year Action Plan for Winning the Blue Sky Defense Battle" (released on July 3, 2018), and improve the environmental air quality monitoring network in Hunan Province, the province has established air component monitoring networks in cities such as Changsha, Zhuzhou, Yiyang, and Yueyang. This initiative aims to enhance the monitoring of particulate matter and photochemical components in key areas, scientifically analyze the causes of air pollution, objectively assess the effectiveness of responses to heavy pollution events, and improve the scientific and refined management of air pollution control and prevention.

Application Outcomes
Pollution Early Warning and Forecasting: By analyzing pollutant transmission channels, causes of exceedance, and dynamic characteristics, accurate source tracing of pollutants is achieved, providing cities with precise air pollution early warning and forecasting.
Pollution "Visualization" Analysis: Through an "active and passive" online air pollution monitoring system, real-time understanding of the spatial-temporal characteristics of air pollution is possible, enabling analysis of pollution causes, sources, regional pollution levels, and scope.
Targeted Control and Decision Support: Based on big data analysis and applications of air component monitoring, precise control of heavy pollution sources is implemented, effectively enhancing the scientific decision-making capabilities of management departments in air pollution prevention and control.
