Recently, the election meeting and academic conference of the Environment and Health Professional Committee of the Hunan Provincial Association of Preventive Medicine was held in Changsha. Wang Lin, Director and Researcher of the Environment Institute of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Pan Lijun, Director and Researcher of the Environment Institute of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Xie Ying, Deputy Director of the Hunan Provincial Bureau of Disease Control and Prevention, Yu Dan, Director of the Health and Immunization Department of the Hunan Provincial Bureau of Disease Control and Prevention, and Gao Lidong, Director of the Hunan Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention, attended the meeting. More than 200 experts from 14 municipal (prefectural) centers for disease control and prevention, health and family planning supervision and management bureaus, universities, water companies, and enterprises engaged in environment and health-related work attended the meeting.

The meeting lasted for 2 days, and academic exchanges with the theme of "Scientific Research Empowerment, High-quality Development" were carried out on site. Experts at the meeting focused on the thinking of high-quality development of environmental health work, the progress of environmental health education and protection technology, actively carrying out environmental health scientific research based on monitoring projects, emergency response to sudden water pollution incidents, health emergency response to flood disasters, and technology empowerment of urban and rural drinking water monitoring and other key and hot issues. Lihe Technology gave an academic report on "Overall Solution and Application of Drinking Water Testing" on technology empowerment of urban and rural drinking water monitoring.

During the commendation session of the conference, plaques of "Advanced Unit in Environmental and Health Work" were awarded to Lihe Technology (Hunan) Co., Ltd. and other units.
