On the morning of March 20, the unveiling ceremony of the Guangdong Nanling Forest Atmospheric Environment and Carbon Neutrality Field Scientific Observation and Research Station was held at the Yuanzushan Station in Lechang. Zhang Yuanhang, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Liu Shaochen, an academician of the World Academy of Sciences, Li Zaifeng, deputy mayor of Shaoguan Municipal Government, Huang Guofeng, director of the Guangdong Provincial Ecological Environment Monitoring Center, and other experts and leaders from universities, scientific research institutes, environmental protection meteorological institutions and government agencies jointly unveiled the Nanling Atmospheric Field Station.

Background of Nanling Atmospheric Field Station
Nanling, Guangdong, has dense forest vegetation and is known as the "back garden" and "atmospheric background area" of Guangdong Province. It is the most intact "oasis" at the same latitude on the earth. It is an important atmospheric oxidation pool (health pool) and carbon sink pool (purification pool) in Guangdong Province, and a feedback area for air pollution prevention and control and carbon neutrality. Carrying out long-term field scientific observations here is of great significance to revealing major scientific issues such as the causes of photochemical pollution and the source and sink mechanism of greenhouse gases under the interaction of urban-forest atmosphere.

Lihe Technology participated in the construction of the Nanling Atmospheric Field Station throughout the entire process, installing self-developed PM2.5 and formaldehyde monitoring equipment at the station to monitor indicators such as PM2.5 and formaldehyde. During operation, by analyzing the PM2.5 and formaldehyde concentrations in the high mountain field environment, the range of PM2.5 and formaldehyde background values in the environmental background under different meteorological conditions was evaluated, providing basic data for regional ozone/particulate matter coordinated control.
