Project Background
In accordance with the Guangdong Province Water Pollution Prevention Action Plan and the Notice on the Rehabilitation of 35 Key Black-odor Rivers in Guangzhou, the city's urban drainage monitoring stations have implemented online water quality monitoring for sewage treatment plants, black-odor rivers, and drainage networks. This includes real-time monitoring and data collection for 35 key black-odor rivers, with centralized management, analysis, and application. Additionally, mobile automatic water quality monitoring devices have been deployed for cross-border river water quality inspections and emergency monitoring of sudden incidents.

●Provides monitoring data for the graded assessment of urban black-odor water bodies.
●Offers technical support for the remediation of urban black-odor water bodies.
●The Yagang section achieved Class V water quality by the end of 2019 and stabilized at Class III by the end of 2020.
●Continuous improvement of Pearl River water quality, with national control sections showing consistent water quality improvement.
