Agricultural Non-Point Source Pollution Monitoring and Treatment Effectiveness Evaluation Solution
Agricultural Non-Point Source Pollution Monitoring and Treatment Effectiveness Evaluation Solution

This solution is based on the Agricultural Non-Point Source Pollution Management and Supervision Guidance Implementation Plan (Trial). It supports the implementation of projects such as comprehensive treatment of agricultural non-point source pollution and establishes a series of demonstration projects focused on pollution prevention and control, investigation and monitoring, and performance evaluation. The solution aims to develop typical models for agricultural non-point source pollution prevention, establish monitoring systems, explore performance evaluation methods, and build a scientific agricultural non-point source pollution monitoring network. This will provide technical support and experience for supervising and guiding pollution management scientifically and efficiently.

Architecture

With the goal of controlling the impact of agricultural non-point source pollution on soil and water environments, efforts are coordinated to address the needs of agricultural non-point source pollution prevention, investigation and monitoring, and performance evaluation.

Based on the specific needs of clients, technical standards for monitoring agricultural non-point source pollution are developed. Monitoring efforts are strengthened for agricultural pollution sources, rainfall, pollutant concentration and flow into water bodies, and the water quality and flow of receiving bodies. A regional monitoring network for agricultural non-point source pollution is established to create a unified system.

Additionally, a regulatory platform for agricultural non-point source pollution is developed. This platform integrates data on agricultural nitrogen and phosphorus runoff monitoring, rainfall monitoring, flow monitoring, and rural environmental quality monitoring. It achieves seamless data connectivity between pollution sources and the ecological environment, enhances regional agricultural source surveys, ecological environment statistics, livestock and poultry waste utilization information, and discharge permit management platform sharing. This improves pollution prevention and control early warning capabilities, providing foundational support for managing agricultural non-point source pollution.

Finally, through routine and specialized analyses, the current status and thematic reports on agricultural non-point source pollution are produced. A comprehensive visualization ("one map") is created to provide a complete understanding of the current status of agricultural non-point source pollution, clarify its contribution rates, and evaluate prevention and control efforts. This guides farmers in scientific fertilization and assists governments in precise pollution control, gradually forming a region-specific model for agricultural non-point source pollution management. This ultimately enhances the quality and efficiency of agricultural development.
