This instrument adopts the potassium permanganate oxidation titration to analyze the water sample. First, the water sample is oxidized and digested by potassium permanganate at constant temperature, and then sodium oxalate solution is added for reduction. The reducing agent is titrated with potassium permanganate solution. The titration end point is determined by absorbance or redox potential, and the permanganate index is calculated by the volume of potassium permanganate back-titrated. The product has two detection methods, acidic potassium permanganate oxidation titration and alkaline potassium permanganate oxidation titration. When the water sample contains excessive chloride ions, the alkaline potassium permanganate oxidation titration method is used to eliminate the interference of chloride ions in the solution.
The sensor has self-diagnosis function.
The sensor has photoelectric self-balancing function automatic compensation function.
The testing method (acid or alkaline method) can be switched according to the chloride ion concentration of the water sample.
The instrument has two analytical methods, potentiometric titration and photometric titration. The analysis won’t be interfered by turbidity and color of water sample.
The instrument has the functions of standard sample verification, zero point verification, span verification, zero point calibration, standard sample calibration, automatic calibration of working curve, and automatic test of spike recovery rate.
The instrument can be controlled remotely .
The instrument has automatic fault alarm function, such as component failure alarm, over-range alarm, abnormal data alarm, reagent shortage alarm (water sample, distilled water, reagent), and can record and upload these faults.
The instrument has the function of detecting the self-balancing of the optical path.
The instrument adopts an embedded operating system and runs efficiently.
This instrument can be used for monitoring surface water, groundwater, seawater, drinking water sources and other water bodies.
