This instrument adopts potassium dichromate oxidation spectrophotometry, with potassium dichromate as oxidant, silver sulfate as catalyst, and mercuric sulfate as chloride ion masking agent. Under strong acidic conditions, the sample is digested in a closed environment with high temperature and high pressure, and the absorbance of the digested solution is measured. By querying the standard working curve, the COD concentration can be quickly determined.
The sensor has self-diagnosis function.
The instrument adopts electric heating digestion method. The adjustable temperature heating system is independently developed, with high heating efficiency, simple and reliable operation. The corresponding digestion time and digestion temperature can be set according to the complexity of the water sample.
The digestion is efficient and time-saving. The water sample digests 10 minutes and the effect is equivalent to that in the laboratory, and the water sample test cycle is about 25 minutes.
The instrument has dual-beam detection function and can detect dual-channel signal intensity simultaneously.
The instrument can automatically clean the pipeline and digestion devices.
The instrument has an anti-interference design to prevent chloride ions from affecting the COD value of water samples.
The instrument can be applied to surface water, groundwater, seawater, drinking water sources, pollution sources, industrial wastewater, domestic sewage and other water monitoring.
