When algal blooms break out, a large number of blue algae die and produce cyanobacterial toxins, large amounts of hydroxylamine, hydrogen sulfide and other toxic and harmful substances that seriously corrupt aquaculture water bodies, directly endanger farmed animals, and indirectly affect human physical and mental health through the food chain. Algal blooms are dubbed "water body killers". In recent years, the state has successively promulgated guiding documents such as the "Working Mechanism for Early Warning of Algal Blooms in Key Lakes and Reservoirs (Trial)" and the "14th Five-Year Plan for Ecological and Environmental Monitoring", emphasizing the importance of paying attention to and doing a good job in early warning and prevention of algal blooms in key basins and lakes.
To provide monitoring tools for the prevention and early warning of algal blooms, the company launched two independently developed algal bloom monitoring and early warning tools - portable algae analyzer and artificial intelligence algae image analyzer. The instruments are combined with monitoring platforms such as buoys, sailing ships, unmanned ships, and automatic water quality monitoring stations to conduct emergency, rapid, and large-scale source tracing and scope investigation of ecological disasters such as algal blooms.
