Lihe Technology Signs Cooperation MOU with Thailand's Hydro-Informatics Institute (HII), Jointly Opening a New Chapter in China-Thailand Environmental Monitoring Cooperation

On October 20, 2025, at the headquarters conference hall of the Hydro-Informatics Institute (HII), Lihe Technology (Hunan) Co., Ltd. and HII officially signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Environmental Technology Innovation Cooperation. Dr. Royboon Rassameethes, Director of the Hydro-Informatics Institute of Thailand, and the representative of Lihe Technology formally signed the document. The Executive Director for Research and Development, department heads of HII, and the Lihe Technology Thailand team jointly witnessed this significant moment.

Deepening Cooperation to Jointly Promote Green Development

The Hydro-Informatics Institute is under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation of Thailand and serves as a major national public research institution. The institute has established thousands of hydrological monitoring stations across Thailand and developed advanced technological platforms covering remote-sensing systems, hydrological modeling, data analytics, and decision-support systems, playing a crucial role in agricultural water-resource management, disaster prevention, and mitigation.

This collaboration aims to carry out in-depth cooperation in the fields of hydrological information, air quality, and climate monitoring, in order to enhance the accuracy and reliability of data acquisition by Thailand’s Hydro-Informatics Institute (HII). It will further promote the integrated collection and application of hydrological and environmental data, significantly strengthening Thailand’s capabilities in intelligent analysis and risk management related to hydrology, water quality, and air pollution. Meanwhile, both parties will actively conduct joint scientific research and data sharing, continuously enhancing the overall strength and sustainability of Thailand’s environmental monitoring system.

Striding Forward Hand in Hand to Envision the Prospects of Cooperation

In his speech, Dr. Royboon Rassameethes stated that this cooperation will provide crucial technical support for the modernization of Thailand’s hydro-information systems and regional water-resource and climate-risk management. The Lihe Technology representative stated: “As a leading enterprise in China’s environmental monitoring industry, Lihe Technology will fully leverage China’s advanced technological strengths and experience in environmental management to contribute to the modernization of HII’s hydro-information system and help Thailand enhance its capabilities in online environmental monitoring, data analysis, and early warning.”
