The "Clean Air Bangkok" project is an innovative collaboration between Chinese and Thai scientific research teams. As a major city in Southeast Asia, Bangkok faces multiple air quality challenges, including industrial emissions, vehicular exhaust, and seasonal particulate pollution from agricultural activities. The project aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of the causes behind severe air pollution episodes in Bangkok. Through systematic research, the team will provide scientific and precise decision-making support and refined management strategies for air quality control, exploring new pathways to urban air quality improvement.

As a core participant in the project, Lihe Tech is leveraging its technological strengths in the field of environmental monitoring. The company has customized a comprehensive suite of ambient air quality monitoring instruments specifically for the project, integrating advanced AI and big data analytics to provide high-quality data support and preliminary diagnostic analysis. The super station deployed in the project is regarded as the “brain” of air quality monitoring. It integrates a full range of cutting-edge instruments, including analyzers for conventional pollutants (PM2.5, PM10, SO₂, NOₓ, CO, O₃), meteorological sensors, inorganic element analyzers, carbon component detectors, black carbon monitors, water-soluble ion analyzers, and lidar systems. Together, these technologies enable 24-hour real-time monitoring of particulate matter sources and composition, equipping Bangkok’s air quality management with intelligent, data-driven insights.

The implementation of this project stands as a model of cross-border application of advanced green technologies, highlighting Lihe Tech’s strong commitment to safeguarding blue skies worldwide. Moving forward, as the project progresses, Lihe Tech will continue to drive innovation and deliver cutting-edge solutions, contributing a “China’s approach” to air pollution control in Bangkok and other cities around the globe.
